Expressing his faith in youngsters of the affiliated District Associations, the Secretary Uttar Pradesh Squash Rackets Association – Dr. N. K. Pandey has maintained that youngsters who are serious about playing the game would get prefrance and selection based on their performances in earlier tournaments conducted under UPSRA.
The following players have been selected to represent the State at the ICL Sub-Junior / Junior Nationals Squash Championships 2008 and 6th unior Inter-State Squash Championship to be played between 31st October – 08th November in Chennai.
Under -19 – Kushal Singh, Sandeep Yadav, Ishan and Anil Kumar.
Under -15 - Ranjit Singh, Sandeep Yadav, Mudit Pant & Divyanshu Sharma

Dr. N.K. Padey (Secretary) Uttar Pradesh Squash Rackets Association (Affiliated State Unit of the Squash Rackets Federation of India) took a noble initiative and has recommended selection of youngsters based on their respective individual performances in various local and state tournaments played in the state.
While this saw, Uttar Pradesh youngsters rub shoulders with the best from the other sates at the 56 ICL Open Senior Nationals and Inter State Championships in Hyderabad recently. The team with average age of 17 years consisted of boys Farman Khan (Dhampur), Kushal Singh (Allahabad), Sandeep Yadav (Allahabad) and Anil Kumar (Dhampur) all played admirably finishing second in the pool and loosing only to Delhi – A that finished third in the Championship.
